EVENT: Busta Rhymes Has Announced A One Off London Show

HIP HOP heavyweight BUSTA RHYMES has just announced a one off London show at THE FORUM on the 6th September.

The East Flatbush born Brooklyn rapper known as the most idiosyncratic personality in rap and professor of it’s most recognizable delivery – a halting, raga-inspired style with incredible complexity, inventiveness and humour, BUSTA RHYMES returns to London for his first full UK show in years.

Known as rap royalty, BUSTA formed Leaders Of The New School in 1990 with Charlie Brown, Dinco D and Cut Monitor Milo who he met at Uniondale High School. The foursome signed a deal with Elektra records right out of the gate when BUSTA was only 17 years old, debuted in 1991 and released two well respected albums before breaking up the following year.

With a string of hit albums (WHEN DISASTER STRIKES, EXTINCTION LEVEL EVENT, ANARCHY, IT ISN’T SAFE NO MORE, THE BIG BAND, BACK ON BS, CATASPROTPHIC, THE YEAR OF THE DRAGON, THE ABSTRACT & THE DRAGON with Q-Tip) award nominations and film roles (Higher Learning, Shaft) under his belt, BUSTA has never left the scene, busy collaborating with everyone from LIL WAYNE, NIKKI MINAJ to CHRIS BROWN.

Busta will release “EXTINCTION LEVEL EVENT 2” later this year. The album is supported by the singles “Twerk It” featuring Nicki Minaj and “Thank You” featuring Q-Tip, Lil Wayne, and Kanye West plus features the huge single “calm down” with special guest EMINEM.

Hot on the heels of his summer released mix tape ‘CATASTROPHIC 2’ BUSTA RHYMES will be performing tracks from his expansive catalogue of hits like ‘WOO-HA! GOT YOU ALL IN CHECK’, ‘PUT YOUR HANDS WHERE MY EYES CAN SEE’ ‘TOUCH IT’ at THE FORUM on 6th September 2014.

DATE: Saturday 6th September
